The Xerox Phaser 8560MFP printer, with Phaser 8560, is not a typical printer, by anybody’s standards. With dimensions of about 21 inches by 26 inches by 24 inches (WxDxH), stands out in any room. Designed with a smaller footprint, if fits better in office environments than competitive products of this size.

As the name implies, MFP, this is a multi-function printer / scanner / fax / copier. It prints, copies and faxes in black and white or color. There are four models: 8560MFP/N, 8560MFP/D, 8560MFP/T and 8560MFP/X. The prices range from $1499 to $3599.

The print speed for either color or black and white copies is thirty pages per minute. The first page-out time is as fast as fifteen seconds for copying and as fast as six second for printing. Standard paper capacity is 625 sheets on the 8560MFP/N and the 8560MFP/D models. It is 1,150 and 1,675 sheets on the 8560MFP/T & 8560MFP/X models, respectively.

Vivid, rich, consistent colors is what you can expect from all four Xerox solid ink models. It doesn’t matter if the paper you are using is recycled, or weight stock, the colors will be the same. The Xerox Phaser 8560MFP printer has the latest technology for ink, the solid sticks, that provide several benefits. For one thing, they cost less. The 8560MFP/X has a standard memory of 1 GB, which is its maximum memory. The other three units have the same maximum memory, with a standard memory of 512 MB. Every model of the 8560MFP has a copy resolution of 600 X 600 dpi, and the print resolution is up to 2400, fine print. Some of the copy features are as follows: booklet creation (which will automatically arrange the document for you so that you can easily fold & staple it into a booklet form), book copying, covers (that will allow for feeding front & back pages of the document, from another media tray), image shift, collation, color password protection, repeat image, N-up reduce - enlarge and image center.

Actually, there are many other features of the 8560MFP that are quite innovative. For instance, auotFit is a feature that will automatically scale the page for the most desirable fit for the size of the media in the input tray. There is another feature called edge erase that is perfect for when the original document is frayed or has staple marks, hole punches, smudges, doodling, and the like. With the watermarks feature you can print text in the background of all the pages, for example: “Draft”, or “Confidential”.

There are, obviously many more features and specifications for this award winning Xerox Phaser 8560MFP printer and Phaser 8560, designed so that any company can do all their printing in-house. The prices, which range from $1,499 to $3,599, do not include optional trade in rebates. When you add those in, prices are reduced an additional $200, $300 or $400, depending on the model.  Don’t spend too much for toner; search for the best deals online.
