Ok, I’m sure a lot of you can relate to this question. Is there really a necessity for computer backpacks? Sure, I was with you guys initially. I mean, any ole backpack will do right? Regular backpacks have more than enough room to put your computer in and even more room for all of your other equipment like mice, power supplies, network cables, etc. So I guess it’s Madison Avenue again stating you need to buy this “fancy” computer backpack right? Well yes and no.

Yes, Madison Avenue is promoting these for sure. That is, people are marketing these to all of you guys. And the reason is that these computer backpacks truly are designed different from those regular use backpacks and for some great reasons.

First and foremost, just throwing your laptop into a regular backpack doesn’t protect it at all. The computer is going to bounce and flop around inside these plain backpacks. However, computer backpacks have an area that you put your computer in that is padded, protects the computer and prevents it from sliding all around. You want to make sure that when you’re on the go, your computer is protected and safely secure within the backpack.

Another great thing about computer backpacks is that they have a lot of separate sections to place and store all of your accessories. To some of you, having separate storage compartments may not be such a big deal, but let me tell you why it is. Try to think of it like this. If you have ever put anything into a storage shed before, if there are not dividers, hooks, or other things to manage all of your tools and other supplies, then what happens after you start to take out and put back in things over time, then those things get all bunched together and after awhile you can’t find anything anymore. The same is true for plain backpacks. They lump everything together so you can’t find anything. However, the computer backpacks neatly organize everything you need so that you can find anything you need easily and quickly. Computer backpacks are definitely worth the purchase.
